Welcome to the 2025 Junior Season at Hauraki Plains Netball!
HPNC supports and follows the Netball New Zealand FutureFerns programme for all our primary aged players. This provides a fantastic foundation as the netballers grow and develop their skills alongside their friends.
Netball is on offer to both BOYS and GIRLS from all schools in the Hauraki Plains Region as well as our neighbouring centres. Please check with your center before registering with us though!
Season Plan
Please check out the attachment for each Future Fern age bracket as the season plan is slightly different for each grade. The season for all teams wil end wih the End of Season Celebrations and Family Fun Night on the last night of the term.
Any questions at all please contact your coach/manager in the first instance.
Bye Games
We do our best to avoid teams having a Bye Week, no likes to miss out on playing! If you see a opponent listed as "Friends and Family" this is a Bye Game. These games are designed so no team misses a week of netball, the intention is for players to show great sportsmanship and a chance to play out of their comfort zones. Please check with your club manager if you need further infomation.
ALL TEAMS WILL HAVE A GAME EACH WEEK
Weekly Duty
Each week will see a different team in the Future Ferns be on duty.
The team on duty can be found on the Draw Tab under Roster
- This involves taking out the portable goals x2 and placing on courts 2, and 4 and then returning to the shed at the end of the game
- Placing the bench seats on the side of each court (seniors will put away at the end of the night)
